Guidelines for submission of Dissertations in Digital Format
The Dissertation should be submitted in MS Word format or as PDF
document. No compression should be used.
The Dissertation should be submitted on a CD-ROM as a single document
file. Author(s) are responsible for the appearance of the document.
Author(s) should submit the following documents:
1. The document containing complete thesis as submitted to the University
(Soft copy should be submitted.)(please refer
appendix 1 for format specification).
2. The document containing title of the thesis, name of the author
etc. in a tabular format (please refer appendix
2 for format specification)
3. Supporting documents (please refer appendix 3
for format specification)
URDIP makes no changes to the appearance and content of the dissertation.
APPENDIX 1
Kindly observe the following specifications while preparing the
document
1. Image specification
All the images appearing in the document should be either in JPEG
or GIF format only. Other formats such as BMP, TIF etc will not
accepted.
2 . Specification for Chemical Structures and other Graphs
All Chemical Structures and Graphs should be either in JPEG or GIF
format only. All other formats should be converted to either JPEG
or GIF format
All the images & chemical structure should be integrated into
the document at appropriate places

from here, filled and send it with the Thesis Document. The soft
copy of the same should be included in the CD-ROM.
APPENDIX 3
Covering letter should mention the file name and its description.
Kindly mention the CSIR Sanction Number.
